Today I'm bringing you a new Christmassy recipe especially for those times when you're calling your friends and family to your place to have a coffee or hot chocolate or warm tea. This little treat is on 34 kcal for a little square of toffee, which is pretty good and they're really gooey and delicious! Enjoy them and let me know in the comment how you like them!
Christmas Toffee Coffee-Time
♥ 152 gr chocolate chips
♥ 1/2 teaspoon salt
♥ 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
♥ 32 gr corn syrup or honey
♥ 207 ml sweetened condensed milk
♥ 100 gr brown light sugar
♥ 57 gr butter
INSTRUCTIONS: Over medium heat, melt the butter in the pan. After is melted, add the brown sugar and stir until is combined and melted. Add the condensed milk and the corn syrup or honey (recommended corn syrup) ad mix well few times and let it sit for approximately 4 minutes until the texture is more dense. Add salt and vanilla. Turn off the heat and add the cereal and stir well at the same time. Transfer the mix to a greased pan or line one with aluminium foil yourself. Sprinkle the chocolate chips all over the hot mix and let them sit so they melt on top of the mix. After 5 minutes you will take a spatula and evenly spread the melted chocolate. Let this sit on the fridge or let is outside for at least 3 hours until it got gooey and chewy yet more solid.
Enjoy them with your favorite tea, hot chocolate (if you have a super sweet tooth) or coffee these holidays! Make them for your friends and they'll love it!
